My name is Sheila, and this is what I do! I find the errors and do so in order to make papers and fiction material written crisper for both the author and the reader. The reader should be able to follow along with no turbulent waters or make them re-read that sentence more than once. It needs to flow nicely and smoothly, but with interesting moments along the way. You know, keeping the reader’s attention.

I am a semi-retired nurse educator but a full-time reader! I am doing what I love to do – and that is helping writers clean up their material -whether it is a paper for school, maybe an article, or a novel you want to write.

There are two authors that I consistently proofread/edit for, and I have edited other authors’ books in the past.

It is my passion to read and to help you become a better writer to allow the reader to become enthralled with your written material.

Being the voracious reader I am, and have been for over ten years, I have picked up typos or other errors in the books I have read. Some pop right out at me, while others are so subtle, but they can’t hide from me for long before I find them!

My skills in typos, grammar, and punctuation could be useful for your book or APA paper.

Reading is my passion, and I believe I could offer my freelancing skills to help improve your story or paper. I hope to update this page twice a month with tidbits about things I have learned from the writing community.

My family and close friends support me along this new career journey, and I hope you will entrust me with your work.
